Everyone at some point in their lives has though of committing a crime. We're humans. Even the bible says we're programmed to sin. The trick is to try and resist what seems to be programmed into us or at least not get caught.
I defy any copper, judge or even Gary Lineker to say that they've never thought of committing some kind of crime. However through a process of logical reasoning (or just being plain useless or lazy) most never arrive at the door of criminality.
In a recent opinion poll down my local boozer, more than 80% of participants said that getting caught and doing a stretch was the main reason for not having gone through with these devlish criminal daydreams. Not being able to get a gun for under 200 quid was another interesting reason quoted. Classy places I drink in......
So here at the WhichDirectory project we figured it would be good to review the prisons in the UK and abroad so that when people are concider commiting a crime they can work out the best place to go for it so when they get caught they can end up in the nick of their choice.
Shortly we will be listing reviews from serving and former inmates in order to give a star rating on service, quality of food, amenities, chances of getting raped or stabbed and chances of getting an Open University Degree.
